Autopsy of broken tone wheel shaft connector on B3

Sorry -- messed up and lost my text above. A couple of weeks ago I wrote about a seemingly uncoupled shaft in the tone wheel generator of my 1959 B3. The consensus was that I should remove the entire TWG and I did. One on the bench, I could see that the main toneshaft is seven pieces coupled by a series of flat, brass rectangular pieces with four ears ears or tabs. These tabs fit into the gears on the shaft, not the shaft itself. See pics. My brass piece has a broken tab -- probably when I applied too much pressure to turn the shaft when my organ was seized up after purchase. Does anyone have experience with this problem and a repair? Does anyone know where I might source a new brass coupler? Thanks in advance for advice.Proud owner, but still learning about my 1959 B3, 1959 C3 and 1961 A-102, Leslie 122 and 145

Success! I removed the TWG and found that the brass linkage or "paddle" between shaft sections had broken. After getting a new (used) part supplied by forum member Muckelroy (member Jaim also volunteered to send the part), I spent the better part of two days slowly and meticulously figuring out how to position the paddle back into the space between shaft ends. I made two videos and will paste the links below. I realize there is a very limited audience for such a particular problem, but maybe I'll save another person or two some trouble.

Well, crap, I think I may have the same issue on my A-100 (Thank you very much for the videos)
I was trying to free up a frozen tone generator, and may have been a little rough with it, and felt something pop.
Now when I turn the main shaft at the run motor side, which moves pretty freely, the main shaft does not turn at the other end.
I haven't been able to find any step-by-step or videos on how to remove the tone generator.
Any advice on how to do this?

I rebuild Hammonds and Leslies. Please visit my website. tbstonewheels.com It's still in the works but is up and running. My personal setup is a Model A # 2203 with Trek II percussion, 122RV and 2 31h's. One is fitted with two speed motors and the other a Hamptone. Also sporting a working Vibratone 30A # 326.

No special advice on the tone generator. Make sure you have a decent soldering iron (mine is 40 watts), take a deep breath and start unsoldering. I took a lot of pictures first to make sure I remember where all the wires go. I did extra solder clean up once the TWG was out so I would have clean terminals to work with when it goes back in. Be careful when pulling TWG out of organ cabinet and when setting it up on the bench. It is quite a bit heavier than I expected.Proud owner, but still learning about my 1959 B3, 1959 C3 and 1961 A-102, Leslie 122 and 145

There is obviously significant differences between the various Hammond TWG's .I had a look at two L100 organs an R100 and T100 in my shed and noted that the central drive shaft sections on these models are coupled using a tightly wound spring rather than a paddle, sorry I don't have any photo's at this stage but will attempt to post some later
