I own a colonnade and previously owned an Aurora which I did clean. I'm uncertain whether you are attempting to clean keying contacts or board contacts. My previous experience with the Aurora is that most boards and connectors are very easy to get to and you should seperate and clean any connectors that come apart.

Cleaning key contacts is fairly easy. But in most Hammond LSI organs the keyboards are not hinged so great care must be made to prop them up securely when you separate them from the interior framing. I like to use Q-Tip swabs in my cleaning. You will find the key contacts are small spring like wires and you must be careful not to bend them during cleaning or they won't reach the proper point of contact in their travel.

I don't recommend removing any of the Integrated Circuit chips for cleaning unless it is the only recourse to restoring the organ. Most older chips have very brittle feet that will crumble when they come out. With the manual you should find it fairly easy to open and work on your Elegante. Just check the appropriate pages on "Dissassembly". Hope this greatly improves the performance of your organ.
