being a good organ player doesn't really depend on your gender....but okay.

Yes,Rhoda always plays barefoot. Barbara Dennerlein in my opinion is flat out the best at kicking bass. Rhoda's doing it in this particular video (It's her tune) but you guys should check out all the Dennerlein clips on You Tube. She's monstrous ! She's also an incredible writer. Check out her CD "Change of Pace" she is playing with an orchestra and I believe she did all the orchestrations as well as the composing. If she was from the states instead of Germany she would be much better known. I would highly suggest for any Hammond jazz lovers that don't know of her to check her out immediately. By the way, She is playing at the Monterrey Jazz Festival this September and also up in San Fransisco. If your from California, Check her out. Watching her play is definitely a humbling experience. Her technique and sense of melodic development is superior to most players. Again this is just my opinion. But seriously, buy some of her CD's. You won't be disappointed.
