• Info On Hammond Organ Please

Hey, this is a followup of a topic my buddy made about a Hammond Organ we found in a thrift shop. The model number says 9712-M and the serial number is 600xxx. Any info about what model this is and how much it's worth is appriciated.

This is the Hammond Dolphin series. LSI based and no drawbars. It has the Auto-Vari 28 drum machine built in. One finger chords, built-in two speed Leslie. Fairly reliable except for nagging contact problems. Not worth much... $50.00 - $100.00 maybe?!?

      For a Dolphin, that's a definite maybe.

Most are given away, dumped or sold for a handful of $. Hard fact of life in today's non-existent market. Go for $50 if you want, but be prepared for zero.

It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.
