Can anyone make a recommendation for the best priced/best quality tube to use in my D100? I busted a 12AX7 tube and I need to replace it, but I don't want to buy the whole set right now.

    maybe ebay?

I did a quick search and came up with this one:

I'm sure you could get used ones cheaper on ebay if you look.

Thanks for the info. Greatly appreciated!

BTW, are you the one with the website that has the samples of organ music being played on the RT-3? If that''s your website, you have a really nice instrument, there.

        could be..I have a RT3 with a PR40 and a Leslie 242 (decorator model of a 142) at:

        http://www.nycfarmboy.com/rt3/rt3detail.html

That RT3 has mostly tubes from that are the brand in the link above...that organ is in South America so when I shipped it down there it went with all new tubes plus the set of original tubes PLUS another set of new tubes so I have stand-by's down there that should last a LONG time.

          Craig,

The 12AX7 is a very common tube in guitar amp. Just about any music store worth its salt should have one in stock. All the big stores, Guitar Center, Sam Ash etc. would have them also. Your D152 is not picky about tubes so just about any brand should work just fine. they retail for about $10-15.
