I've got a chance to pick up a Leslie 25 for $175. I have a A-100, I know this isn't the best fit but better than no leslie at all. Good deal, bad deal, or wait for something better??

    Thanks,

Does the 25 have an amp? If so, does it work?

Well, from what I can tell, no I don't think that is an amp there. That box is just to connect the cable to the Leslie. You could originally order the 25 with or without an amp. If you ordered it without, then, the Leslie would run off the amplifier on your organ. But, you should ask the seller, about it, just to be sure, because it looks like there was an amp there at one time. But, you should double check that the amp is not there for sure. But, what a beautiful cabinet. Good Luck!

Yeah, the cabinet is in really nice shape. Do you think this is a good deal?

            Re: Leslie 25

Well, it's just a tad bit pricey for me. This is especially true because the Leslie has no amp. On the other hand, the cabinet is beautiful. If I had this situation, I would try and talk the price down to lets say $150. I would not go over $175 though. If the seller doesn't budge though, buy it at $175. But remember, it's a big world out there. If you post a want add on craigslist, you may get a couple of replies. I did, and I got 3 replies. A 25, 110, and a 145. The 145 was to expensive for me, and the 110 is nothing special. And the 25, I might be going to check out. Back to the subject, your 25 is a pretty fair deal, but there is a lot of other Leslies floating around out there. You just got to hunt for them! Good Luck!

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm gonna pass on the 25. I really want a leslie for my new A-100 but I want to get the proper one. I think I'll just wait until I find the right one for the right price. Even if that means alot more. It'll be worth it in the end.

               Thanks again guys!
