Re: Need help: Identification of 1976 Hammond

Looks like the text I wrote went missing.

Anyway, I've uploaded this pictures in hope that one of you can help me identify this organ.

I've spent 5 hours looking for similar ones on the internet, with no success. The closest was a Hammond Cadette.

If someone knows anything about this one I would be glad to know. Also, is it worth anything?

    Merry X-mas,

Looks like a model 9300. An LSI organ with a built in leslie. Zero market value in NA. YMMV.

This is another of those European 'specials' that came out of Antwerp.

It appears to have the small spec of the 9100 Dolphin, but the rhythm unit is more like that of the Piper, and some of the rotary knobs are late 1960's vintage. I have them on my 1969 built T402. Truly assembled from a kit of spare parts to make a model 9327. The knob for the 'acoustic tremolo' (it is a leslie but Hammond weren't using the word for some reason) is not the original by the look of things.

However, the innards of these specials didn't always match the outside, and for all we know, there could be something like a VS200 inside that Dolphin cabinet rather than LSI technology!

Sadly, the value is indeed zero.

It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

Thank you very much. It's likely that my "special" will be given away =)
