I'm planning on moving my M3 into my shop/studio this weekend. What are the outside dimensions of the organ, ignoring the bench?

Re: How big is my M3
well mine is out in my garage and with 12" of snow I'd rather now trumble out there thru that to measure but I can tomorrow if you need the EXACT measurements!
It will easily fit thru any almost any normal size doorway though I'm sure.
I think it's 20" deep, it's the length I want. Maybe the Admiral will see this; he's got a dozen or so of them....just kidding.

Hey, ain't there a song about "And it don't Snow in Indianapolis in the Winter Time". Seems like Kenny Rogers or somthin'. My studio is 8' X 8' X 36' jammed full of unfinished projects. I think I got a spot hollowed out where I can actually play the thing.

Thanks

Re: How big is my M3
I believe it's 42"X 35"X25". I had to fit mine into the back of a JeepGrand Cherokee, and it would only goin on its side...fortunately I read about bolting the TGbeforehand. I'm gonna confirm those dimensions...1955 M3 (in good hands!)

Re: How big is my M3
Ok here are the dimensions I found online. I think the first is the "official" dimensions, but someone else disagreed?

They're roughly the same except for the width, which seems to be the only thing people can't agree on, and the difference isn't too much. (Scratch the original 42".)
1955 M3 (in good hands!)

Re: How big is my M3
I measured all dozen of them and they're each 45-5/8" to the outside of the top trim. Omitting the trim they're 45".

Oh, yeah, don't forget to bolt down the generator before moving. 4 bolts under the gen shelf. Take them out and change the washers so they'll clamp down the gen then reverse that when you get home or you'll have a noisy gen.

Hammonds: A; AB; B3; D; E; 6-M3's; 2-A100; T582C.
