    One of these days you probably could put the dust cover back on. </P>


    I had to go in and out of upper and manuals probably half a dozen times in total...</P>

    Every time you do something"difficult" like that, it really boosts your confidence. It certainly brings the "big jobs down to size." Nothing inside the organ is frightening after that!!</P>

    Hey yeah! I just did a busbar job on my new (to me) M-100. Man! Whata job that was! But in the reassembley of the organ I got a little lazy;I neglected to put the busbar dust cover back on, and was therefore concerned about what may happen to my sound and if I'd have to clean them all over again, but I think I can surmise that all I may need to do is from time to time just blow the dust out! I have heretofore suffered no sound change but I guess when things get a little scratchy I'll just blow the dust off. And, to respond to the enitial post, I have not tried that, but will certainly keep it in mind and try it myself! Oh and G'day [:D] mate!

    G'day! I've been in to mine to add the foldback and manual tapering.</P>


    Having the manuals open for a week or three made the bussbars get a little dusty. Since it was just transient dirt it just blew away with a good puff.</P>


    The contacts are a little spitty now, but I like that sound!</P>


    Sounds like yours had oxidised or gunged? Mine didn't suffer so badly.</P>

    My L-122 was without a doubt, an electrical wreck. The key contacts were my last issue, though playing on the organ for two years did little to solve them. I eventually took the bussbars out, and cleaned them with both deoxit and brasso, to no avail. It stayed just as bad. This week, I came up with another idea: I tilted the upper manual forward and took off the cover over the key contacts (Careful! Teeny wires!) and put an entire can of deoxit into the contacts, letting it drip down to the bussbars. Put it back together, and though its not perfect, playing it is finally making a difference! At this rate, it should be fully working in no time. </p>

    Am I the first one to try this?  </p>
