• Tech info for Technics EX-35

I own a Technics EX-35 home organ that has lost its sound. Actually there is still sound, but it is so faint as to be barely audible. Pressing the volume medal is of little or no assistance in increasing the sound. Pedals cannot be heard at all. The computer panel seems to be ok, all lights seem to be working, except for FSC going out when a key is pressed. Does this need a reset and if so, how do I accomplish that? Or could it be a blown amplifier? We can't find the manual and there is very little info on-line.

You can get the owner's manual for it at safemanuals.com

Pick Panasonic as the mfg, then ex35 in the search box.

Tech manuals can sometimes be gotten at Panasonic, but they are also available on some other sites for a fee. Do a google search for technics sxex35 service manual

Thanks for that link. I used to have it, but somewhere along the line it disappeared from my menubar.

BTW, safemanuals.com is also free downloads and they have quite a good selection.

          Meri Lee,

The EX-series organs have a chord from the bass pedals that plugs into the rear of the organ body. If this chord is not plugged in, or you have a bad connection there, the instrument will sound pretty much as you describe yours.

To reset the EX-35 to initialfactory settings, press FSC, then press the F-sharp key on the lower keyboard.
