Is it just me or are the prices being asked by Music Store on e.bay for OAS registrations a tad eye watering or is just me being cynical having spent £1250 on a Roland ATUP-EX 'registration pack' ??

Do you have a link, as I would have thought they would be the same as their main website https://www.musicstore.de/INTERSHOP/...ce%3Djj7BJrtxP plus a lot of used instruments (New OAS instruments have not been made for a number of years) will probably have a lot already included.
Note: All the registration packs include new sounds as well. (Named versions also include styles, demos and effects)

I see where you are coming from:
In 2007/8 a brand new accompaniment section replaced the existing one, which was also made available as a cost option for existing owners, the link you mentioned includes this option (For those that have not yet upgraded) as well as the 2 Franz Lambert Sound Packs, hence the high price, however unless it is a really old instrument that has not had the OAA added, it is not required. (You are also paying for the name Franz Lambert)
The Franz Lambert Sound packs can be bought separately. (Although you will need Sound Pack 1 before you can use Sound Pack 2)

FL1: 20 Pre-sets, 30 Sounds, 20 Styles, 2 Mixer Pre-sets, 2 Reverb Pre-sets and 20 mp3 demos.

FL2: 20 Pre-sets, 33 Sounds, 19 Styles, 2 Drum Kits, 2 Mixer Pre-sets, 198 Drum Sounds, 1 Effect Pre-set, 11 Effects, 2 Reverb Pre-sets and 20 mp3 demos.

Unless you wish to replicate Franz Lambert (And the sound packs really do give you the Franz Lambert Sound) stick to the general sound packs as they are much better value.

NOTE: There is no delivery involved, as all the sound packs are included in the instrument, and when you purchase the pack you will be given an unlock code to activate it. (You can also get a free trial code so that you can try before you buy)
