  • Repair wurlitzer 4140 "b" key first divider problem

All keys except the "B' chord work ok. Traced problem to first divider in the "B" generator. Changed both transistors (NTE289A) first divider still wont flip flop. Switched the PC pack (Sprague with the D# one) still same problem. Divider will not switch. Oscillator working OK. Even jumpered oscillator from D# to "B" first divider. Does the transistors have to be matched in order for divider to run?? Simple circuit but can't get the first divider with PC pack Sprague 653105 to operate. Has anyone had this proble?

I finally got the B chord to work thanks to the help from a retired organ repair man name Dave who I contacted on this form. I had to use the 2N2926 transistors as the NTE289A just would not work. I also had to increase the size of the capacitor from the shaping transistor to the first divider. The original was a .0056. I had increase it to a .03 and now the B chord is working. I could not have repaired this organ without the help from this forum and David.
    Thanks
