  • Old Orla "Fontenay" organ.

Hello there. I am seeking advice on the above organ for a friend. The organ has no sound coming out but the lights switch on And there is a crackling sound ( like a bad earth lead). Given that there is a left/ right.mono audio output on the back of the organ...does it need speakers?
If so which ones would be compatable?
I have searched the internet and cannot find this model of organ.
I have some pictures which.i can post.
I would be really grateful for any information about this make or of any where we can get it repaired.
    Many thanks

Photos would help. I've not heard of this model, so it's likely to be a name used in Continental Europe or the USA.

First, we need to know what you've got, and where you are. You may or may not be able to post photos yet - try using the 'Go Advanced' feature when you reply, and then 'Manage Attachments'. If you can't attach photos, email a couple to me via my website shown below and I'll add them for you.

As for what's wrong, impossible to say yet.
It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.
