  • Farfisa Project

    Hello Everybody, this is my first post after browsing through the forums for a few days. I'm about to embark on an as yet undefined project involving a Farfisa organ. Firstly I would like some help identifying it, with a view to obtaining schematics and any other interesting literature or information. It's Model number appears to be;
    112 452E
    Serial: 6207 410

    It's a console style dual manual with pedals, built in 'Leslie' type speaker, Partner ( no number) rhythm box and a cassette tape machine.

    Any comments gratefully received.
    Cheers.

    Photo please! I can't see a Farfisa with that number. Whatever it is, with a cassette unit, it will be old - I'm guessing early 1970s, so it's very unlikely you'll get schematics, but do place a request in the special section of the forum reserved for these requests.

    If you can positively ID it, then there are a few brochure collectors on the Facebook Vintage Organ group who might well have some literature. If you apply to join, you MUST answer the questions asked there, or your request to join will be declined. It's our way of keeping out people who have no real interest in vintage home organs. People seem to mistake it for a B-3 group, a classical organ group etc, despite the clear description given.
    It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

      Hi. Thanks to andyg for your prompt reply. Here are some pictures. Sorry for the odd camera angle but the organ's still lying on its back in the car. Thanks also for the advice about your Facebook group. I'll pop over there later and see if they'll let me in.
      Many thanks.

        According to this 2016 thread, it's a variant of Model 52:

            Thanks guys. That's a great start. I'm away to look for stuff, probably fruitlessly, but anything I do find, I'll post in the appropriate places. Any idea what year it was made?

            Cheers

              Early 1970s, I can remember selling used 52's and 54's in 1973.

                  Hello again,
                  Thanks Andy. After a bit more searching I found that you may have already answered my original question. I think that it may be a 52RK based on your comment here;

                  https://organforum.com/forums/showth...hlight=Farfisa

                  Not sure if that was the best way to post a link but thanks again, in a round about kind of way:->
