Hi all,
I was asked to look at a GA-3 which had suddenly refused to work except for the console lights. All the fuses are OK and the correct voltage is getting to the main pcb. The floppy disk drive had been replaced with a USB drive. At next switch-on there was nothing except the console lights. The USB drive is new and not previously used.
Is it possible or likely that a fault on the USB drive would disable the whole organ? I am at a loss as to what to do next.
