  • Roland Atelier AT-80 S to SL upgrade software

Hello everyone, just looking at an Atelier AT80S, not too sure yet if I am buying as I have my new XH-200, but just wondering if you can obtain software to upgrade it to an SL. Organ is well under £1000, whereas the SL are well over £1000, some well over £2000. I know there was a software upgrade at one point. Just wondering if you can still buy the software and if it is easily obtainable. Maybe through an Organ Forum Memeber. The badge, that that says Luxury might be a little more difficult.

    Cheers.

    Your experiences matter.

No you can't get it any more. It wasn't just a software update but also installed two small daughter boards/chips. The difference between the S and SL is big enough to warrant a reasonable difference in price. More sounds and rhythms, updated operating system and virtual on-screen drawbars for starters.
It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.
