I'm new here. A local seller is advertising an EL-25 for $AU50 (about $US35) which piqued my interest. It has two stuck keys and is missing the volume pedal. First keyboard I ever learned on was a BK-5, so I have a bit of soft spot for Electones.
Is anyone here familiar with EL-25 hardware? Could I substitute a simple potentiometric pedal, or does the EL-25 need one of those fancy optical sensors? I have a spare pedal from my Excelsior Digisyzer which has a potentiometer and two toe-switches.
