  • New life for old Baldwin!

My Baldwin MCX-2100 had been sounding terrible and distorted for quite some time. I finally got brave and pulled the back off. The 10" speakers had disintegrated all the way around the edge. I ordered a new set of Jensens and installed them. What a HUGE difference! The old girl sounds great now. I realize that these are not the most desirable organs, but as I am still a novice, it meets my needs perfectly. I am now encouraged to practice and learn the functions of this 30+ year old unit. BTW, does anyone know how to find an owners manual? Thanks!

Well done! I have a much older (probably 40 + years) R-81 and I love it. It came for free and what I like most is the good bass. For service and other manuals I can confidently recommend Kris Celedonia at Celedonia Organ Service. These are great people and their prices are reasonable. They are located in the US so shipping should be easier than international.

    Luck!
