  • Atelier auto arranger?

How does the Atelier arranger work? Does in continue to play when releasing the chord?
On Yamaha organs, if they haven't changed it, it stops playing and if you press memory it also holds the chord. None of the options are very usefull.

I guess it's a problem to know what's up in the next measure when you just hit the base on first beat and chord on second....

On the Yamaha the chord is only held if the Memory Lower field is clicked on in the Auto Bass Chord screen. This screen pops up when you press the Memory button. Otherwise the accompaniment continues to play without the chord.

There's an option in the Atelier's on screen menus that allows you to have the chords held after you let the notes go, or not, as you wish. IIRC, it's called "Arranger Hold". They are the only two options.

You can of course play your own bass lines on the pedals. As soon as you select a bass voice in either of the two pedal divisions, auto bass is shut off.
It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.
