    Orla GT5000 Memory Battery

    Hi All,
    I have a question, that I hope somebody, can help me with.
    My Orla GT5000, needs the memory battery replacing. So I was wondering, if anybody knows where it's hidden?. Is it going to be a major strip down i.e. split unit into two, back off, remove top panel and roll top, flip up keyboards etc?, or did Orla put it somewhere more accessible, than my long past R510?.
    Any help appreciated.

    I don't think I can be much help had an RX620 and were soldered in on one of the main boards behind the keyboard. Read somewhere you could use telephone Batteries as a replacement but that was my model not yours. I had some work done on mine by the Orla engineer and access seemed to be mainly by unscrewing and tilting the keyboard up.

      Thanks Max, A bit like my old 510 as mentioned. Looks like I'll go ahead, and randomly strip the GT, until I find the little bugger!
