  • Little rubber nubs

A couple of pedals stopped working on my Electone E50. I pulled the pedalboard off the organ to inspect the contacts. I found that each pedal has a pointed rubber nub on the metal tab at the top end of the pedal. They are brittle and some have broken off entirely. It's those pedal that don't work.

I suppose that is to be expected with a 40 year old organ. Are those rubber nubs still available? Do any of you Electone owners have a solution for using some other kind of object? I was thinking about a piece of dense foam with a sticky back like the sizing pads for a bicycle helmet.

Can you take a photo of the part you are needing? We may be able to suggest something that would work for you.

The original part, CB012270 rubber actuator, is listed as obsolete in April of 1998.
I would suggest felt rather than foam. Perhaps the little felt dots that are made to stick under objects to protect furniture. They could be stacked to provide the correct thickness.
