    Yamaha EX-1

I received an email from someone looking to unload an EX-1. He found me through my website where I describe how I ended up with an FX-1. I don't have the room for this but it could be a cool organ to have.

Hi, I have a like new Yamaha Electone EX-1 serial #5048 along with two matching speakers that are about 5 feet tall. Our school has no use for it. It was donated to us back in the 1990's and has never been used. You seem to have an interest in them based on your website. I thought I would let you know of the instrument. For the school to let go of it, I need to go thru a process that includes offering it to other colleges in the state of Tennessee. I don't think anyone will have any interest in it. But, I would like to start the process of getting it moved out of our music room. It takes a great deal of space for something we never use. If you have any interest, please let me know.

George I think you should add it to your collection ! Everyone needs more than one big white Yamaha after all. LOL It is a cool looking Stage Model, but not as cool as the FX-1. I never liked the PASS sounds all that much to tell the truth. I know some people do because of the similarity to the GX-1. I will pass on the info to someone who might be interested.
    Regards, Larry

Thanks Larry, yes, it's very cool. I'd just like to see it in person having only seen pictures.
