  • how to change key range for midi out in electone hs-8 plz

    hi everyone,
    my small midi keyboard has 2 arrows buttons for that. how to change this midi sent out range in hs8

    I don't think you can do this. As far as I'm aware, the organ transmits MIDI note numbers for the keys actually pressed. Even on the later EL series, there's no way to change the octaves, and using the transposer has no effect on the MIDI notes that are transmitted.

    Midi hadn't been out long when the HS8 came out so it was pretty limited, (And most organs were more limited than this so the HS8 is not unique) and as Andy said unlikely to do as you require unfortunately. TBH, a lot of modern organs are still limited in what they can do over Midi.
