    Hi Kath,
I should be able to copy the disks you need, but I also need a favour in return.
I am trying to find out an average selling price for my Atelier AT80SL, and also trying to
find the best classifieds to use. Any Ideas?

Ted, that post was from 5 years ago!

As for where to sell it, advertise on the 'For Sale' section here on the forum, if you haven't already!
It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

The auction for an AT-90SL last year netted around $3600 and it was a steal. I bought my AT-80s at the same time for less than half that but it's the previous series to yours. I would think that anything from two grand to three would be tops. Don't be surprised if no one wants it for any price. They're much easier to buy than to sell. I've about decided to sell all but my AT-15 and my 80s, as I'm playing them less these days. And some people believe that five is too many.

          Hi Kurzweil

Thank you for your reply, don't you just hate it when somebody tells you what you already suspected?

One thing I suspect is that the top of the line models, the 90 models with 25 pedals, enjoy the best pricing. Anything under that has a more limited group of potential buyers. The one model I've actively attempted to sell, an AT-30, generated dismal interest but it is a much, much older model and far more limited than your 80sl. Just start high and reduce every 30 days, or even two weeks. The market will let you know. An AT80sl would make a great church keyboard. The lower manual could be used as a piano and the upper for fill instruments. The pedals could be ignored, if it were a praise band situation (with a bass player, that is). I've used them that way often and the pistons are wonderful for this application. I set each song up on a piston. These are things that you may could put in your ad. Not that it helped me any. Of course, I refer to CraigsList. Good luck.
