Lowrey H25R-2 Sustain Capacitors and Owners Manual

Iam in the process of restoring a Lowrey H25R-2. I have to replace about a dozen upper manual sustain capacitors. The original electrolytic cap has 2 different values printed on it: 9uF-20V NP and 90uF-20V NP. The local parts supplier is a little confused and can not help me. There are another 2 numbers printed on the cap case: 1068-6949 and P-4095. What can I use as a substitute???

I have already replaced one sustain cap for the lower manual. The original electrolytic cap has a value of 40uF 20V NP. All I could get was a physically much smaller unit with a value of 47uF 25V NP. It appears to work OK. I hope I have done the right thing.

Does anybody have an “Owners Manual” I could copy? Any H25 model will do. I will reimburseany costs involved. I have a Service Manual for the H25-1 & H25R-2 if anybody is interested in a copy. <o:p></o:p>

The Lowrey engineers and draftsmen surely have a sense of humour. While studying the H25 Service Manual I found these quotes hidden in the schematics. Puts a nice touch to an otherwise dry and sober publication.<o:p></o:p>
