  • Orbit III Synth Volume issue on Wurlitzer

Is there some kind of amplification control inside the organ that can be adjusted for the Orbit 3 synthesizer? I also feel that the overall volume of the organ ought to be boosted . Any adjustments can be made?

The models that had the full Orbit III synthesizer were quite well amplified, certainly enough for a home situation. And the Orbit should be correctly balanced without any need for internal adjustment. If you feel that the whole organ is quiet, then I'd be thinking about the power supplies to the amps. Given that the organ may be approaching 50 years old, things like electrolytic capacitors may need replacing.
It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

I agree with andyg. The Orbit iii is equally balanced. There is no internal adjustment, at least on my 950 organ. The organ itself can get quite loud.

May need to check the volume booster button under the lower keyboard if the overall volume is quite low?
