Haai can anyone please help me with my Yamaha Organ B-20BR? If you press the keys it only gives whoofiing sound. If yo select Piano or Banjo or Hawaiian you hear some keys whoofiing some are silent. Beats and other things sound fine.

Is it pure video? By any chance do you have a *ou*ube account? If so, you could post it there and then link to it here.

You cannot upload videos to Forum posts. Either place it on YouTube and provide a link or upload it to the Gallery.

Create a Youtube account, that will take just a couple of minutes, then upload your video. Once uploaded, post a link to the video in a reply to this post.
And no, there is no Facebook group associated with this forum - it does things that Facebook can't do and there are already groups that cater for various types of organ. If you join Vintage Organ Group (do answer the questions or I will not admit you!) then that will give you two sources of information.
The B20BR is old enough (almost 50 years!) that there probably is nothing 'custom' inside, apart from perhaps in the drum unit. All should be fixable but as the organ has zero value (well perhaps just a very little value in SA) then bear in mind that you'll pay more to fix it than to find something newer, better and fullly working. It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

Verra,
I'm sorry I didn't see your posts earlier in the day (now night for you). I believe there are restrictions on new members' posts, but if you send a private message to Admin, he may be willing to lift that restriction for you, or even put your video in the gallery.
Just click on his name above, and make sure the message is a private message.

Hello there fellow countryman. Welcome to the Forum.
You might have a problem with your old 20BR in the sense that, as Andy has commented, its old. In my day I had two of them and in view of the obvious issues regarding repairing and more particularly, getting parts, I ended up giving both away for breaking up and dismembering. I know that the cabinet of one ended up as a writing desk for a school kid.
Sorry if I added some cold water to your fire but these are facts.
I am in the process of thinning out my horde of similar organs which I have accumulated over the years so if you care to send me a PM (private message) to indicate where you are located perhaps I have something as a replacement.
Take care
Nico"Don't make war, make music!" Hammonds, Lowreys, Yamaha's, Gulbransens, Baldwin, Technics, Johannus. Reed organs. Details on request... B-)
