Lowrey TBO-1. lost sound trying a repair

I recently was trying a repair on my Percussion board. I was having issues with the repeat accelerating when I added a fourth note in one shot or repeat mode I was checking a transistor by replacing it with a new one. It was the driver transistor. so I replaced it. but i forgot that the pin configuration on the new transistor was different. (old one ECB. (emitter, collector, base), new one EBC) So. obviously i did not work and in doing so something screwed up. I lost sound.
After replacing transistor I turned on to test. i had the percussion tab and repeat percussion tab on. with the trumpet and strings sound from the upper manual on for source. I quickly realized that the Percussion tab and Percussion repeat tab was not working. When i turned Percussion tab and Percussion repeat tab off, I had sound from the upper manual for a few seconds but it quickly faded out. so now i have a no sound ( or small faint sound if i press the volume pedal all the way up) BUT, I do have sound back to normal if I turn on the Staccato tab. but with staccato in the circuit.
anyone have an idea where i need to look to get my sound back to normal? What did I do? any help would be appreciate it

P.S. I did put the old transistor back in and got to Percussion repeat to work. The percussion one shot isn't.
I still only have sound with just the staccato tab on
