  • Lowrey Organ Group Request

Does anyone know how to get in touch with the Lowrey Organ Group?

I received a call today from the deceased's relatives, requesting to know if there is any interest in a Lowrey Festival organ with Magic Genie from ca. 1970s. I have photos, but would like to put the family in touch with the group directly so they may place the ad themselves. I don't have the heart to tell them it's worth nothing.

    Thanks in advance.

Go to Facebook and search Lowrey Organ Group - join (it's free) then find or ask for the guidelines on posting details/photos of the organ - they are nice people.

Thank you both. I'll pass this information on to the seller.

There's also the Lowrey Organ Facebook group.

To be blunt, there won't be any interest. Most members of both groups have larger, newer instruments. A small few have large earlier models and a very small few have even earlier 'classic' models.

At some point, someone is going to tell them it's worth zero. That person might have to be me! :( Wouldn't that sort of message be better coming from you as a family friend? Someone might just tell them to dump it (that wouldn't be me!) and that might cause more upset.
It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

Gee, thanks a lot! I was hoping to get out of it. However, we do have a local version of CL where they might find a more receptive audience. I'm going to recommend a grandchild. We'll see how that turns out.
