  • Preset Memory issues with my Yamaha FX20

    Hello everyone,
Looking for a little technical help this afternoon and hoping that you guys will be able to help me out. As of yesterday, my Yamaha FX20 has quit holding preset memories when I power the organ off. When I turn the organ back on everything previously saved is now gone. I now have to re register the organ every time I power it up. I'm guessing it's a battery issue. Does any one have experience in this area or know how to go about finding replacments? Thanks in advance for your help. - John

There is a 3V battery on thew BU board. You raise the upper section with keyboards and panel and the board is in the center front.

geoelectro gave you great information, so I have nothing to add. However, I can provide photos of the actual battery setup.
