  • No sound from Rodgers 557

Organ has worked beautifully for 5 years. Kids started playing and now there is no sound when it turns on.

I've checked the headphone jack and it similarly doesn't have sound.

any thoughts on when to begin?

i removed the back cover and checked all visible fuses and they appear to be in good shape.

    thanks!

Could have a speaker switch that is in the "external" position, but I'm not at all sure of that. Otherwise, there are all manner of things that could make it silent. If you are able, use a meter to see if all the required power supply voltages are present and stable. That's always the first step in troubleshooting.

      Is the display working normally?
Have you checked the master volume control on the input/output box?
Could someone have set the organ to "Local Off?"
