  • Substitute for Lowrey transistor 23560

I'm repairing the partially working wow wow board on my TBO-1 and need to replace one of the two 2356Q transistors. I have a Hammond cross ref list but not a Lowrey one. Can anyone suggest a sub and or point me to a substitution document?

Lowrey part number 991-002356-000 = NPN Transistor 2N3403.

Thanks td. Is there a document in circulation on line that has Lowrey part numbers/subs or do you have a book from the old days?

hmm... There's locally a Lowrey 60 (spinet) in a church rec hall near here and the organ is good except it seems to have a stuck "wow wow" sound.

I have the Master Cross Reference Guide from the old days. Last update was 1995. I don't know of any recent lists.

I have ordered the Howard Sams Semiconductor cross reference guide. Hopefully that will cover everything I need.
