anyone have information on this organ or anyone out there own one? have a chance to buy one great condition made in 1995, just wanted some info on it also organ is missing the bench anyone know where to find a bench that matches thanks!!

Well, it's basically Lowrey's GX2 organ, with the Kawai K1 synth added in as the third manual. The synth was programmed with orchestral and organ sounds (and some of them - I suspect, at least - programmed by me when I was with Kawai). It's not made in 1995, though. I was working for Lowrey UK from 1989 through to 1995. In 89/90 Lowrey launched the much more advanced NT series instruments like the MX2 and Heritage, and by 1995 we'd gone a generation further with the first of the LX series organs.</P>


If you haven't already done so, I'd join the Yahoo Lowrey Forum group (you'll find me there as well) and you'll get more information anda good idea of thevalue of the organ. You shouldn't be paying too much and the Yahoo group has all the info.</P>


Console benches aren't that easy to come by - depends on where you are and a bit of luck.</P>

My info on this one may confuse the issue just a little. I have GX2 &amp; GX361 listed as being released in 1988 with retail prices of AUD$22,000 and AUD$33,000 respectively. At the time these instruments were imported on an indent basis only by Kawai Aust. making these retail prices probably meaningless. For what it's worth the last GX361 to turn up on Ebay Oz didn't attract any bids above its start price of $2K, and the last MX2 that Andy mentioned sold on Ebay Oz for $800.</P>


As for a console bemch, as Andy says, good luck and take whatever comes up.</P>
