• nord c1 headphone output

    hey y'all,

this might seem like a dumb question, but if you plug in headphones into the headphone output, can you hear and play the nord c1 without any amplifier?

A dumb question is the one not asked. That's why we all hang aroung here. I'm not familiar with the Nord C1 but I think the headphones should work through the headphone jack without an amp. Do your phones have a volume control that might be turned all the way down? Perhaps a wire is broken or a connector is loose. Try them in something with a known working headphone jack.

i ordered the nord last week and it should be arriving wed. i thought it was designed to work without the amp, but wasn't 100% sure and just wanted to see if anyone uses the nord c1 directly with headphones.

what i really need is a device that i can plug my nord c1 and a my laptop or stereo into, then come out with headphones this way i can hear music and my nord through headphones. Does anyone know what that device is called?

A small mixer like the Behringer MX602 should do the job.

in addition to the MIXER previously mentioned you could hook up a multi in/out keyboard AMP like the Traynor K4 which also has headphone out.
