  • Ne23 equivalant for Lowery

Has anyone identified an equivalent replacement and source for the Ne23 keying neon bulbs in a Lowery?

    TIA

    I found this link:

Looks like the same neon I sourced from a UK manufacturer, and they work fine. Also, if you search Lowrey (note spelling) Heritage on eBay.com, there's some bloke selling parts from a model DS. He'd probably have a bunch of original neons from the organ he's parting out; although they do tend to be brittle and prone to breaking apart, 60 years down the line.

if that source does not work, there is also mouser.com - but you need to know exactly what you want - sometimes, it is best to hand the salesrep your burn out one. you might also have to order huge amounts.

Lazio - thank you for the link. That matches the specs I found on another source. Neon Lamp NE-2 1A1 65-120VAC 0.3mA Wire Leads.

I found some at Mouser, but the organs owner found another source.

Chicago Miniature 5AB neons worked to replace the broken neons in my Lowrey DSO.
