Scrim cloth replacement

    I tied a rubber band around the scrim/rotor on my studio 222 .

    Takes the drag and flap out of the sail.​​​​​​​

    But yeah getting the spindle back into the bearing while trying to keep the thrust washer in place is tricky.

    Have someone like a youngster eyeball the spindle and help you get that washer in place.

        Doesn't the washer need to shift as the rotor moves? It would be glued to the rubber grommet. The thrust washer is there to absorb
        the impact of the rotor's abrupt moves. Gluing the washer to the rubber would disintegrate the grommet.

        The washer needs to be free to shift IMO...
