  • Leslie 125: How do I hook it up to my guitar/preamp?

Hi all, I have picked up a Hammond l-133 and a Leslie 125.

I’m a guitarist and want to see if there is something I can buy that is easy to run my guitar through the Hammond? Pref with a speed control too as I think it’s one speed.

Also the spring reverb sounds amazing on the Hammond. Is it possible to send my guitar signal through both?

Last question, how do I get the deep purple distorted sound? I have a Marshall, preamps etc.

To connect your guitar or anything else using a 1/4 inch output jack to your 125, buy this model in the link below of Dr. Fishsticks Leslie controller. You can use any pre-amp with it including your Marshall. You will be able to control your 125's two speeds with a simple latching foot switch. I have no clue as to how you could use the spring reverb with it but if it is possible, Dr Fishsticks will know how. He is super helpful so just ask him when you purchase the unit. As an alternative, just use your reverb stomp box of choice.
