  • Leslie 147 Fuse Blown

My Leslie 147 is paired to a Hammond C3.

Last week, I turned on the Hammond but the leslie was dead. I checked the fuse, it was blown.
What is interesting is that nothing was working, not even the motors driving the horn or the base motor.

I replaced the fuse, turned on the Hammond and again nothing, fuse blown again.

I know next to nothing about electronics but could this be a cabling issue?

    Your assistance is appreciated.

    Hello,

In the 147, the amp frame have 2 independant sections :
    #1 Motors and speed control.
#2 Power amp. Only these section is fused.

If the fuse blow, it proves the power is present, and there is a short somewhere in the Leslie.

But as far as #2 is not fused, motors should works with or without fuse.

    2 possible explanations :

    -The wiring had been modified.
-There is 2 problems (ore more) in the Leslie.
