  • Leslie 720 amplifier module, anyone have one of these lying about?

Last item I need to bring the last of the 720 and 540 speakers back to their full potential. I don't think this one is repairable 8)

I think these modules are used in several different Leslie models.

    Thanks!

    Oops !
Nice pic for the Horror museum of Organforum.

Some resistor and capacitors disappeared in smoke.
But the transformer is still there and may be intact under the soot.
I think it is repairable if there is not other issue.

But, you can replace it with a chinese LM3886T amp based module. (The same are mounted on the JBL EON Power 10)

Or even throw everything and mount this one.

Yep, this is what happened when the amp developed a 'fault' (from lightning) and the *30 amp* fuse someone replaced the 2.5 amp with just let all kinds of electrons have a real party 8) The transformer is pretty much just a blob of ash and the pcb underneath is carbonized clear through.

That little bi-amp module looks real cute and would run fine with the existing Leslie power supply, but on the other hand I have an extra Crown CT-200 that would really do the job. Decisions, decisions...

The 720 and 705 amps are same and the 710 possibly very similar.

There are a few owners of 720s on here who could do with the 540 on top to complete the combo.
It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

Let me get back with you, I think they could probably be shipped UPS in good double strength boxes.

If you need parts, let me know. Mine had problems on the power supply board, so I have an as-is amp that's been partially parted out
I probably own too many keyboards
