    145 with 122 amp or 142?

    Amp looks like a 122 amp. If so, it's a 142.

142 / 145 have the same cabinet. The only difference is the 122 amp used instead of a 147 amp.

Does the "145-1" ink stamp on the cabinet have any significance? The serial number tag is missing from the back panel.

You can check the amp date against the motors (1967) to see if the 122 amp has a higher or lower chance of being original. Also compare horn driver and woofer (Jensen C15) date codes.

This cabinet has plywood horn and woofer baffle shelves vs. the particle board in 1969 and after. Could be a very nice-sounding Leslie if all fixed up.

Date codes for the amp can potentially be found on the filter capacitor and on the volume pot if either is original.
I'm David. 'Dave' is someone else's name.

Thanks David, I'll check those date codes out. It is a good sounding unit.

The ink stamp was made by the cabinet maker. When it came time to build a Leslie, the mfg. didn’t necessarily care whether the cabinet stamp was 145 or 142 since they were identical. The amp and tag on the middle back panel determined the model. There are many 147’s with 122 ink stamps and vice versa.
