  • UTAH bass speaker

    Hi all

Can someone tell me the model name/number of the modern 122/147 bass speaker replacement made by Utah. I've been searching on the forum, but haven't come across the actual model number. Does Utah in fact make a bass speaker these days that works in a 122/147 cab? I'm currently using an Eminence and it doesn't handle the bass tones well.

    Thanks
    Lazlo

Utah as a speaker manufacturer has not existed since the late 1970s. They were not replacements; Utah woofers came stock in many Leslies starting around 1969. They were very robust speakers. I've only ever had to recone one, and that was a 4 Ohm model used in a solid-state Leslie.

David seems there was tons of these out there. I seem to run into them all the time.

The Utah woofer was the most common woofer you find in Leslies in the 1970s with the C15L in second place.
