  • Leslie 716 Reputation and Value

Have a prospect Leslie 716 I'm looking to buy. Wondering what reputation this cabnent has picked up from people experienced with it. How does it compare with other such cabnents, and a potential value.

    Thanks in advance!

Basically an uprated and updated version of the 715. Two channels, so if you have the Conn organ shown in your avatar, it might well be a good match, albeit one requiring a bit of head scratching to come up with a connector and switching kit. If you want to run it in 'single channel' mode, and send a Hammond sound through the rotary, that will work just fine, as it has an internal crossover to send the bass to the 15" woofer instead of the 6x9" in the Rotosonic drum. You again need to make up or buy an 11 pin connector kit (unless the orag already has an 11 pin socket.
It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.
