Fellas here's a good one,
I've chopped an M-3.
The original amp is now upside down under the top. I am not going to use the original field coil speaker.
The pedals have also been utilized with the help of an old 28 pin computer cable.
I made an enclosure for the pedals that looks pretty good. They can be disconnected when traveling or not in use.
A cable from a bicycle shop works great with a modified swell pedal!
I have a new 147 amp purchased from TWG in a converted model 25 cabinet.
I had a tool made to cut original slots/vents in cabinet (they look like it came from the factory!)
Added new upper horn assy, old style two speed motors, crossover.
Thinking about making an adapter for the bottom shelf to take a bigger speaker. Anyone have suggestions?
Unfortunately I'm not able to add pictures at this time, I'm getting an error (invalid server response). I'll try again later.
1. What needs to be done to NOT use the FC speaker? Anything more than just adding the resistor? I don't remember the value.
2. What connection kit will I need? (26-1?)
3. Will I need a pre-amp? I would rather not use a Leslie combo pre-amp. Is there one that can be mounted in the console that would go on when I turn the organ on?
I'm not new to this but the more detail you give the better. Pictures would be great if you have them!
I guess that's all for now.
No rush guys
Thanks so much for the help!!
