  • PR40 Additional Connector

Hi, I recently bought a 1962 C3 and PR40 tone cabinet which both work fine. I've been trying to find an owner's manual for the PR40 without success. I'm wondering what the additional 6-pin female connector on the PR40 is used for?

The female socket on a PR-40 is a 5-pin socket (not 6-pin) for attaching additional Hammond Tone Cabinets. There is documentation on PR-40s in the general Hammond Service Manual that covers B-3s/C-3s, etc...
I'm David. 'Dave' is someone else's name.

Ah yes I see now, the male is 6 pins, female 5. So that makes since that you could daisy-chain 2 tone cabinets. Thanks!
