  • Will 147/122 motors and rotors fit in a 45 cabinet?

In my quest to end up with a short cabinet I am wondering if 147/122 motors and rotors mount up in a 45 cabinet without modification, or if mods needed are not so complex? I think I have a line on a 45 empty cabinet but have had no luck finding a 142/145 close to me. There seem to be many more tall cabinets for sale than shortys.

Rotors will fit, but motors will not fit without modification. The upper motor box on a 45 isn't deep enough for a two-motor stack, and the lower motor mounting is even more of a challenge because a 45's lower motor hangs from under the shelf rather than sitting on top.
