I have a 720, here are a couple of things I experienced that you can check. Check the level control by turning it back and forth a little to see if it is dirty or intermittent. Inside, the audio signals travel from the 11pin connector to the two amplifier modules attaching with single-pin Molex connectors. Check that these are clean and snug. Each amp module has a wire harness that plugs onto the power supply board with Molex connectors, same deal, clean and snug. Underneath the power supply board the solder joints for the Molex sockets may have cracked and become intermittent, re-solder with a little fresh rosin core solder. A little squirt of Deoxit when you check these connectors would be a great idea. There could be an issue with the amp module itself, and also the speaker wires plug onto the amp modules with Molex plugs too, definitely check them.Tom in Tulsa

I've worked on several of those 11 pin power supplies that have had loose board mounted molex receptacles. It seems to be a weak point.Hammond A100, M102, X5, XB3, XB5, TTR-100,

I had the same type problem with a mod 700 that I installed a v21 horn, and I found that the v21 was my problem. I had to do some re solder work on the diaphragm it wasn't making a good contact on one of the leads after the re solder it works great no more in and out problems.
