I would like to know how the bass and treble frequencies are separated to the speakers
i read somewhere that the bass and trebles are sperated in the amp
Like it is a bi amp set up
I have a 600 Leslie roto Sonic that I am working on giving the cabinet a make over
122 145 147 ish size wise
I have a AO29 and a AO67
I wanted to power the 15 Hughes with the 67 and
power the roto Sonic and v21horn with the 29
if I need to I also have an AO44 reverb amp which I think is about 12watts
If the cross over point is ok then I could get the signals from the PR40 speakers terminals to drive the power amp sections
I was also thinking of using the 67 with that power supply and create a frank iin quad 6v6
But I'm thinking using the 67 and the 29 in a bi amp configuration would be simpler
Maybe use the original 600 crossover for the roto Sonic and to the v21
Hello
Does anyone know what the crossover frequency is on a PR40 tone cabinet ?
Where would the circuit be found on the schematic ?
The crossover frequency for the PR40 is 200Hz. This is found on the basic instruction sheet for the PR40 cabinet in the third section titled "Three Channels." This had also been the crossover frequency Hammond chose for earlier cabinets.
There is no single crossover circuit. High-pass filters in the Treble channels filter out the bass frequencies, while low-pass filters in the bass channel filter out the high frequencies.
