  • Leslie / Hohner hybrid build

Hope this is of interest, I decided to put a Leslie from a Hammond organ in a busted Hohner OAB 100 amp.
Fairly easy process and if you want a wiring diagram I can draw one out.

Hohner make an ORT which has a Lelsie bass baffle and treble horn.
I decided to make one with just a full range 100w horn behind the Leslie styrofoam which looks a bit more 'high-vis'.

    Day 1: https://youtu.be/_kWMzj17JA0
    Day 2: https://youtu.be/pHs8kS-gNUk
    Day 3: https://youtu.be/VjYOb0icnlQ

The alternative was to replace all the broken loud speakers, but I am happy with the result and it sounds great.

Honestly this project is up there with the Moon landing or the invention of the wheel, well done!
Love seeing a well-lit psychedelic rotary system.
    Current:
1971 T-202 with Carsten Meyer mods: Remove key click filters, single-trigger percussion, UM 16' drawbar volume correction. Lower Manual bass foldback.
Korg CX3 (original 1980's analogue model).
1967 Leslie 122 with custom inbuilt preamp on back panel for 1/4" line-level inputs, bass & treble controls. Horn diffusers intact.
2009 Marshall 2061x HW Plexi head into Marshall 4x12 cabinet.

    Former:
    1964 C3
    196x M-102
    197x X5
    197x Leslie 825
