    My response below:

If they are the same version, there should be no problem. However, you could always export them as MIDI or an older Sonar version to obtain the same results.

P.S. I'm not sure if Mac has a Sonar version. At one point in the past, Cakewalk stopped supporting Mac computers, and I don't know if it has ever been revived. At that point, the developer, Jeremy Sagan created Metro based on the Cakewalk product he had created for Mac (http://www.sagantech.com/)
Way too many organs to list, but I do have 5 Allens:
    • MOS-2 Model 505-B / ADC-4300-DK / ADC-5400 / ADC-6000 (Symphony) / ADC-8000DKC
    • Lowrey Heritage (DSO-1)
    • 11 Pump Organs, 1 Pipe Organ & 7 Pianos

Thanks for that Sagantech info -- just noticed it again and contacted them.

Thanks, myorgan. How sure are you of that about the tracks? Am still using (and loving) the Sonar version 7 that I initially got via *bay and always assumed they'd play on other Sonar versions -- later ones at least. This page says it's Mac-compatible.

The guilt I've felt all these years using a technically illegal/preowned copy of it has now been expunged -- it's freeware now :->

I'm not sure how compatible the version are, but I'd suggest asking the question on the official website. Surely, they have a FAQ that would answer the question.

Would someone be willing to give me part of a final Cakewalk file to look at? Thanks.

      Horseshoe,

I'm confused about what you're requesting. Any file could be considered final. Are you requesting a Finale file? Or are you just looking for a sequenced Cakewalk file?

I'll be happy to, Horseshoe_or. How?

If the file's not too large, you can attach it to a private message. You can upload larger files to the Gallery.

Thanks. I just created a 'Victor Jules misc.' album and uploaded a sample track. Fun!
The tracks all seem to be about 230-300 kb in size, so I'm guessing the content takes up minimal space in each.
