  • Archive 201 problem

My trusty Archive 201 doesn't sound all of a sudden. Midi signals blinking received, stops lighting, presets fine, not the audio cables or volume screw. Should I open it up? Then what.... yikes!
any help appreciated. (I have the service manual thanks again Ari)

    Jesse,

There's a thread on here somewhere about replacing the batteries of an Archive unit. Let me see if I can find it for you.

    Michael

    P.S. Long time no see!
Way too many organs to list, but I do have 5 Allens:
    • MOS-2 Model 505-B / ADC-4300-DK / ADC-5400 / ADC-6000 (Symphony) / ADC-8000DKC
    • Lowrey Heritage (DSO-1)
    • 9 Pump Organs, 1 Pipe Organ & 6 Pianos

Hi Michael! Yes, been a while. I had replaced the batteries in both my units a few years ago, I guess I'll go back in and do it again, but all the otber functions work that usually fail with a battery. It's a start; ill do the rechargeable phone battery this time. If it's not that maybe Ari will see this in the meantime and tell me where I can send it, Ahlborn Chicago if still there or Classic Organ works in Markham. Thanks Michael.

Maybe you should choose your congregation more carefully! Talk about "hellfire and brimstone preaching."
